Management structure
Financial resources
The Foundation assets consist of its library, archives and museum endowments, and of a modest financial fund established in 1989 that is now being put to use.
The Foundation's sources of income are:
- Fondazione
-
- income from its own activities;
- otto per mille funded projects (from the "8 out of 1000" income tax funds specifically earmarked by the tax payer) chosen by the Tavola Valdese;
- specific funded projects by public institutions such as the Ministry for Cultural Heritage, the Regional Council of Piedmont, the Council of the Province of Turin, the Comunità Montane (administrative bodies of mountain areas) and municipalities of the area;
- Donations from Italian and foreign donors.
Human resources
The Foundation's activities are carried out by a small full-time team of employees and a large number of volunteers. Italian civil social service volunteers and German "volunteers for peace" are also involved in the Foundation's activities.
As with other cultural institutions, the passion and commitment of the people (both paid and voluntary) involved with the centre has a key role in the service offered to visitors to our museums, library and archives, in our publishing sector, during our cultural events, in our strategy planning, and in the administrative field. Interesting chances for training and cultural growth are offered by the Foundation to its volunteers.
